The total area of a circle is ¥ðr^2. The area of the sector can be obtained by multiplying the circle's area by the ratio of the angle and 2¥ð. (because the area of the sector is proportional to its angle, and 360 is the angle for the whole circle, in degrees)

A = (¥ðr^2)(¥è/360)

r : radius of circle
¥è : central angle (degrees)
¥ð : pi, 3.141592...
