Relation between the spring constant and the natural circular frequency in spring motions

An object having its mass "m" is in a spring motion with the spring constant being k, the natural circular frequency Wn is:

Wn = (k/m)^(1/2)

In MKS system, Wn is in rad/sec.

The natural frequency fn which is the frequency during a unit time is expressed as:

fn = Wn/2¥ð  (unit: Hertz)
