At a constant temperature T, volume of gas V is inversely proportional to the pressure P.

V = k/P ,  k = VP
k : constant

Thus, P1*V1 = P2*V2 = k.

V2 = P1*V1 / P2 (at a constant temperature)

P1, V1 : pressure and volume under the initial condition
P2, V2 : pressure and volume after pressure change
