General value of the thermal expansion coefficient of concrete (¥ác) is 1¡¿10^(-5) m/m¡É.
That is, 1m-long concrete changes by ¡¾1¡¿10^(-5) m in length due to temperature variation of ¡¾1¡É.

Similarly, length change ¥ÄL(m) of concrete having a length L(m), due to temperature change ¥ÄT(¡É), is obtained as follows:

¥ÄL = ¥ác¡¿L¡¿¥ÄT (m)
    = ¥ác¡¿L¡¿¥ÄT¡¿1000 (mm)

*** Âü°í¹®Çå[References] ***

¥ÄL = ¥ác*L*¥ÄT*1000
