Radius of circles surrounding a circle

As shown in figure, circles of numbers n (¡Ã3) surround a circle. Letting the radius of the inner circle and surrounding circles
as R and r respectively, r can be calculated as below.

If the angle between the center of the inner circle and two neighbouring outer circles is 2¥è,

2¥è = 360/n
¥è = 180/n, (n¡Ã3)

From sin(¥è) = r/(R+r),

r = R*sin(¥è) / (1-sin(¥è)) = R*sin(180/n) / (1-sin(180/n))
