The formula to calculate the allowable bearing capacity of the pile is as follows.

Qa = W * H / (8S) (ton)

where,
Qa: allowable bearing capacity of the pile (ton)
W: hammering weight of (ton)
H: Falling height of the hammering weight (m)
S: Settlement of pile due to one stroke (m)

The Sander formula is a formula for determining the allowable bearing capacity of a deep foundation and belongs to the dynamic method with the Engineering News formula.
