Prandtl number is defined as the ratio of momentum diffusivity to thermal diffusivity. That is, the Prandtl number is given as:

Pr = ¥í / ¥á = viscous diffusion rate / thermal diffusion rate
   = (¥ì/¥ñ) / (k/(cp*¥ñ))
   = cp*¥ì / k

where:

¥í  : momentum diffusivity (kinematic viscosity), ¥í = ¥ì/¥ñ, (m^2/s)
¥á  : thermal diffusivity, ¥á = k/(cp*¥ñ), (m^2/s)
¥ì  : dynamic viscosity, (Pa¡¤s = N¡¤s/m^2)
k : thermal conductivity, (W/m-K)
cp : specific heat, (J/kg-K)
¥ñ  : density, (kg/m^3).
