The net volume of a hollow sphere can be obtained by subtracting the volume of the inner sphere from the volume of the outer sphere.

If the outside diameter of the sphere is Do and the diameter of the inside sphere is Di, the volume V of the hollow sphere is as follows.

Vo = (1/6)*¥ð*Do^3
Vi = (1/6)*¥ð*Di^3
V = Vo-Vi = (1/6)*¥ð*(Do^3 - Di^3)
