Let V be the net volume of a hollow sphere, Vo the outer sphere volume, and Vi the inner sphere volume, then,

V = Vo-Vi = (1/6)*¥ð*(Do^3 - Di^3)

Do : diameter of outer sphere
Di : diameter of inner sphere

Di = (Do^3 - (6*V/¥ð))^(1/3)

The thickness of the hollow sphere is:

t = Do-Di = Do - (Do^3 - (6*V/¥ð))^(1/3)

t = Do - (Do^3 - (6*V/¥ð))^(1/3)
