When the sugar S (g) is added to water W (g), the percent concentration P (%) can be calculated as follows.

P = S / (W + S) * 100

Therefore, the mass of sugar to be added to water W (g) to make sugar water of P (%) can be calculated by the following formula.

S = P * W / (100 - P)
