When the concentrated load P (kN) acts at a position x (m) away from the point A of a simple beam of length L (m), the magnitude of the reaction force RA (kN) at point A is

¢²MB = 0

RA * L-P * (L-x) = 0

RA = P (L-x) / L

If the concentrated loads P1, P2, P3, and P4 act at positions x1, x2, x3, and x4, respectively, the reaction force RA is

RA = (1 / L) * (P1 * (L-x1) + P2 * (L-x2) + P3 * (L-x3) + P4 * (L-x4))

*** Âü°í¹®Çå[References] ***

RA = (1/L)*(P1*(L-x1)+P2*(L-x2)+P3*(L-x3)+P4*(L-x4))
