Calculating x3 values ​​in numerical approximation, secant method

In the secant method, xn is obtained as

xn = ((xn-1)*f(xn-1) - (xn-2)*f(xn-2)) / (f(xn-1)-f(xn-2))

where n-1 and n-2 are subscripts in xn-1 and xn-2.

If f(x1) = fx1 and f(x2) = fx2, then,

x3 = (x2*fx1 - x1*fx2) / (fx1-fx2)
