Deflection at a point when the distributed load is applied to a cantilever beam

As shown in the figure, when the distributed load w (kN / m) acts on the cantilever beam of length L (m), the amount of deflection vx (mm) at an arbitrary position x (m) is obtained as follows.

The deflection equation of cantilever is as follows.

vx = (w*x^2/(24EI))(6L^2 - 4Lx + x^2)

If the unit of w is kN, the unit of E is MPa, and the unit of I is cm^4, it can be written as the following formula..

vx = (w*x^2/(24EI))(6L^2 - 4Lx + x^2) * 10^8
