When the distribution load w (kN / m) acts on the cantilever beam of length L (m), the moment M at the point can be obtained as follows.

Since it is uniformly distributed, the resultant force of load is w * L and the distance from the point to the acting point of action is L / 2, the following is obtained.

M = (1/2) * w * L^2
