An object with a weight of Wa (kgf) and density of ¥ñ (kg/m^3) in air, when placed in liquid with density ¥ñl (kg/m^3), weight of the object Wf (kgf) can be calculated as follows.

Volume of the object

V = Wa/(¥ñg)

Up lift force (buoyancy)

Fv = V¥ñlg = Wa(¥ñl/¥ñ)

Weight of the object placed in liquid

Wf = Wa - Fv = Wa(1-(¥ñl/¥ñ))

if ¥ñ ¡Â ¥ñf, the object is not completely submerged.

*** Âü°í¹®Çå[References] ***

Wf = Wa*(1-(¥ñl/¥ñ))
