Calculate the molarity M (M) according to the pH of the potassium hydroxide (KOH) solution.

KOH ¡æ K+ + OH-

Since the molarity of KOH is equal to the molarity of OH,

pOH = -log(M)

pH = 14-pOH = 14 + log(M)

M = 10^(pH-14)

Since it is alkaline, its pH is greater than 7.
