As shown in the figure, when a moment M (N¡¤m) acts on a circular section with a diameter D (m), the maximum bending stress is calculated as follows.

¥ò = M / Z

M : moment act on a circular section (N-m)
Z : section modulus (m^3) =  ¥ðD^3 / 32

¥òmax = 32*M / (¥ð*D^3)

D : diameter of circular section (m)
