As shown in the figure, when a moment M (N¡¤m) acts on a rectangular section with h by b (m), the maximum bending stress is calculated as follows.

¥ò = M / Z

M : moment act on a rectangular section (N¡¤m)
Z : section modulus (m^3) =  bh^2 / 6
